Beware of the magnetic braclet...

I made this cute little rustic bracelet for a friend and whilst trying it on found it quite funny that the magnetic clasp really did pick up everything.  I didnt expect it to be so strong.  Not only did it attach itself to other jewellery, I had a paperclip, another necklace, a few metal beads and later it made a move to get my USB stick too.  Everywhere I went I could feel it sort of twitching and wanting to lure everything in (as those large magnets do in cartoons) Its either a very powerful clasp, or possibly just has a mind of its own.  I thought it was quite amusing to wear!!!

A greens n blues week...

I don't think i'll ever tire of sea greens and turquoise!

A note re my blog

Hi to my 2nd follower, Erin (i'm a fan of your designs) and to hear that you will be writing a jewellery techniques book with Lorelei Eurto just makes me drool (in advance).

A note re my blogging. I am in the process of establishing precisely what I want to do with my blog/looking at ideas/doing some research in order to make it an exciting place to visit with lots of regular postings.  I realise I should have thought about this some more before setting one up, but hey, I just got over excited.  Please bear with me girls  ; )

Gosh, I haven't decided on a name for this one either....love this vintage button and there's lots of interesting detail in this one..asymmetrical glass nuggets, opaque seed beads, dyed mother of pearl and ornamental brass chain by Vintaj.  A different style for me, but I really enjoyed creating this one!

Springtime Bracelet

Antique brass with a great chunky handmade hook, vintage style lucite flowers for the focal and a mix of little Czech glass and wooden beads around the wrist.  A very girly one!
